Welcome to Georgie Porgie Designs!   

My name is Georgie Melot and I have been sewing all my life, AND that has been a LONG time, not quite long enough to join the Red Hat Ladies but I am closing in fast.

My husband of 26 years, Max, and I have two wonderful sons; Matthew and Mitchell.  Both boys have been forced to learn to sew and I am still trying to teach the computer to Max....The boys have been better students.

I love teaching sewing and embroidery software to anyone who wants to learn.  I hope that you will find my patterns, projects, instructional videos, and software tutorials enjoyable and helpful.

All of the items on the Patterns page, include needed pattern pieces, cutting layouts and directions complete with diagrams.

The Software Tutorials, are all on CD's and videos of me working with the software as I narrate what is being done.  The MW Project Lessons, are similar to the tutorials but it does not go through each tool.  The Project Lessons will explain the tools used to create the specific project.  The Project lessons will also include written instructions and any artwork, and embroidery files needed for the project. 

The Instructional Videos are actual videos of me teaching the specific projects.  All patterns, and embroidery designs that are needed for the specific projects are included.

All of the designs were digitized using Palette or Master Works Software.  The test designs were stitched out in PES format.  I have not tested other formats.  The design sets will be emailed to you unless you would prefer to receive the designs in CD format. 

The Projects are an assortment of things that I have made and someone has asked directions for.  These directions are generally basic and have little to no diagrams.
