Ready, Set, Serge!

I have written a book! It is being published by Krause Publications and was released in January 2009. The book is titled: Ready, Set, Serge. If you have an interest in serging you will love this book! There are 16 projects in the book that can all be completed with a simple overlock stitch. You will also find a 'stepped-up' version of each project that will teach you some wonderful and exciting serger techniques.

Learn to Sew!

Welcome to Georgie Porgie Designs where our goal is to make sure you are Sew Educated! We have two ways to help you meet your sewing needs.

First, if you are new to sewing you should consider the Sew Educated Sewing 101 curriculum. It is a great way to get the strong foundation that you will need to meet your sewing goals.

Second, if you can sew but would love to learn some new techniques, the Sew Educated Online Classroom will be just what you need. You will find projects that will allow you to expand your sewing skills and great video lessons that show you how to duplicate the techniques.
