Puppet Stage

Materials Needed

32 feet of PVC

6 - PVC T joints

4 - 90 degree PVC joints

2 - PVC X joints

6 - 45 degree PVC joints

5 ½ yards fabric

Directions

Cut PVC to the following lengths:

11 – 24” pieces

  6 – 18” pieces

  6 – 2” pieces

Cut fabric to the following lengths:

2 – 57” x width of fabric

1 – 32” x width of fabric

1 – 13” x width of fabric

Curtain Directions

Finish side seams by pressing under ¼” and hemming.  Press bottom of each curtain under 1” and hemming.  Press top of each curtain under 1”.  Topstitch 1” from top fold of each curtain.  Topstitch 3 ½” from top fold to form casing. 

Variation:  Adhere curtains to stage with Velcro.  Gather all curtains; stitch Velcro (sew in) to gathered edge.  Attach the opposite Velcro (stick on) to the PVC.
